The Library Manager is the simplest and safest way to install libraries. If possible, that is the method you should use.
If the library you want to use is not available via the library manager, you can get the source code and place it into your machine's local library folder. The location of the folder is rather specific.

Path should be:
~/Library/MobileDevice/Provisioning Profiles
The ~/Library folder is hidden in finder by default, so you either have to unhide it or use the Finder menu Go->Go to folder.. and enter the path, or use Terminal and execute the command:
open ~/Library/MobileDevice/'Provisioning Profiles'
(quotes are necessary due to the space in the path)Or to unhide the ~/Library folder in Finder open Finder and select your home folder on the left. Then select menu View->Show View Options. In the window that opens place a check mark next to 'Show Library Folder.' Now you can browse into the ~/Library folder in Finder as you would any other folder.
